ICEDA AWARDS 2022
In 2022, ICEDA launched the first edition of the ICEDA Awards within its community. The ICEDA Awards recognize our members’ contribution to the advancement of knowledge and investment in endocrine disruptors research, methodologies, policies, or outreach.
This year, 4 ICEDA members received an ICEDA Award:
- Professional mid-career award for outstanding contributions – Jennifer Joan Adibi, Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh
- Professional early career award for outstanding contributions – Aleksandra Buha Đorđević, Associate Professor at the University of Belgrade
- Ph.D. student award for outstanding contributions – Julie Robitaille, PhD student at Institut national de la recherche scientifique
- M.Sc student award for outstanding contributions – Chloe Devoy, M.Sc. student at the University of Lethbridge
SCIENTIFIC SYMPOSIUM AWARDS
During the first scientific symposium of ICEDA, 5 excellence awards were given within our student community:
- Popular science contest – Verônica Angélica Alves, PhD student at Institut national de la recherche scientifique
- Best scientific poster M.Sc. – Cameron Confuorti, M.Sc. student at Institut national de la recherche scientifique
- Best scientific poster PhD – Alec McDermott, PhD student at Institut national de la recherche scientifique
- Best oral presentation M.Sc. – Lorissa Corrie, M.Sc. student at the University of Victoria
- Best oral presentation PhD – Ghida Baalbaki, PhD student at Institut national de la recherche scientifique
